If you prefer to bike, you can use the extensive bike lanes available in Plano. Start your ride heading south on the 'Parker Road' bike lane. Continue until you connect with the 'Legacy Trail.' Follow the trail south, which will eventually lead you to the 'Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt.' From there, you can navigate through the greenbelt towards the direction of Dallas. Once you reach the city limits, continue towards the Bishop Arts District. Depending on your route, this could take around 1-2 hours of biking. Walking
Walking from Plano to the Bishop Arts District is quite a long journey, approximately 20 miles. However, if you are up for it, start at the 'Legacy Town Center' in Plano and head south along 'Legacy Drive' towards the intersection with 'Parker Road.' Continue walking south until you reach the DART light rail station at 'Parker Road' and follow the public transport instructions from there. If you still wish to walk, you will need to follow side streets that lead into Dallas, but this may not be the safest or most enjoyable option due to the distance.
