From any location in Plano, head to the nearest DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) station. You will want to catch the DART Light Rail Blue Line towards 'Downtown Dallas.' Stay on the train for approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'St. Paul Station' in downtown Dallas. From St. Paul Station, transfer to the DART Bus Route 7 (Cedar Crest) at the bus stop. The bus will take you directly towards the Dallas Zoo. Get off at the 'Dallas Zoo' bus stop. You will find the entrance at 650 S R.L. Thornton Fwy.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, start from the Plano bike trails, heading south towards the DART station. Once you reach the DART station, follow the bike lanes leading to the DART Light Rail Blue Line. Ride the train towards 'Downtown Dallas.' After exiting at 'St. Paul Station,' you can lock your bike at the bike racks available. Then, take DART Bus Route 7 (Cedar Crest) to the 'Dallas Zoo' stop. The zoo entrance will be right in front of you.
