Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  From Plano, head to the nearest DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) station. You can take the DART Rail Red Line from the Parker Road Station. Board the train heading towards Westmoreland Station and disembark at the Akard Station. From Akard Station, walk two blocks east along Main Street until you reach Young Street. Turn right and walk south for one block to reach J. Erik Jonsson Central Library at 1515 Young St, Dallas, TX 75201.

• Public Transit - Light Rail

  Start at the nearest DART Light Rail station in Plano, such as the Spring Creek Station. Board the DART Rail Red Line train towards Westmoreland Station. Get off at the St. Paul Station. From there, walk two blocks west to Main Street and turn left. Continue south on Main Street until you reach Young Street. Turn right on Young Street, and you will find the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library at 1515 Young St, Dallas, TX 75201.

• Walking

  If you are staying in downtown Plano, you can walk to the nearest DART Light Rail station at the Plano Station. From there, take the Red Line train to the Akard Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head east on Main Street. After two blocks, turn right onto Young Street and walk south. The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library will be on your right at 1515 Young St, Dallas, TX 75201.
