Public Bus
From downtown Plano, head to the nearest DART bus stop. Board the DART bus route 883, which will take you directly to the downtown Dallas area. Disembark at the 'Elm St @ Houston St' stop. From there, walk south on Houston Street for about 2 blocks until you reach Elm Street. Turn left onto Elm Street and walk for another block until you see the John Neely Bryan Cabin on your right at 600 Elm St.
DART Light Rail
Make your way to the nearest DART light rail station in Plano. Take the Red Line towards Downtown Dallas. Ride the train until you reach the 'West End' station. Upon exiting the station, walk east on Pacific Avenue for 1 block, then turn right on Houston Street. Continue walking south for about 4 blocks until you reach Elm Street. Turn left onto Elm Street and the John Neely Bryan Cabin will be on your right at 600 Elm St.
Bicycle Rental
If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in Plano. Head towards the DART station and take the bike path leading to the DART Light Rail station in downtown Plano. From there, cycle down toward the West End in Dallas. Upon reaching downtown Dallas, navigate to Elm Street and continue cycling until you see the John Neely Bryan Cabin at 600 Elm St.
Walking
If you are starting from a central location in Plano, you can walk to the nearest DART station to take the train to Dallas. However, if you prefer to walk directly, take a scenic route through the local parks toward the DART station and then take the train to the West End station. From the West End station, walk east on Pacific Avenue, then turn right onto Houston Street, and finally left onto Elm Street where you will find the John Neely Bryan Cabin at 600 Elm St.
