Walking
If you are in Port Aransas, start by heading towards the Port Aransas Ferry Terminal located at 100 Ferry Landing. Take the ferry to the mainland, which is free and operates frequently. Once you arrive in Corpus Christi, head towards N Shoreline Blvd. You can walk along the waterfront promenade, which is scenic. Continue walking north on N Shoreline Blvd until you reach 2914 N Shoreline Blvd, where the USS Lexington is located. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Port Aransas. Ride towards the Port Aransas Ferry Terminal at 100 Ferry Landing. Take the ferry to the mainland, and once you disembark, continue riding north along N Shoreline Blvd. The USS Lexington will be on your right at 2914 N Shoreline Blvd. The total distance will be around 3 miles, which should take about 20-30 minutes cycling.
Public Transport
Since there is no direct public transport from Port Aransas to Corpus Christi, you should first take the ferry from the Port Aransas Ferry Terminal at 100 Ferry Landing to the mainland. Once in Corpus Christi, you can catch a bus from the nearest bus stop to the ferry terminal. Look for the bus routes that lead towards downtown Corpus Christi, and ask the driver for the stop closest to 2914 N Shoreline Blvd. From there, it’s a short walk to the USS Lexington.
