Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in Red River Valley, head southwest on US-287 S toward I-35 S. Merge onto I-35 S and continue for approximately 100 miles. Take exit 234B for US-183 N toward Austin. Merge onto US-183 N and then take the exit toward TX-1 Loop N. Continue on TX-1 Loop N and take the exit for N Capital of Texas Hwy. Follow N Capital of Texas Hwy for about 4 miles until you reach the Pennybacker Bridge Overlook on your right. There is no entrance fee to access the overlook.

Once you arrive at the Austin station, you can take Capital Metro's Route 3 (Burnet/South 1st) towards the North. Transfer to Route 20 (Cameron Road) at the 15th St/Guadalupe St stop.
