If you're driving from central Red River Valley, start by getting onto US-287 S. Follow the signs for I-35 S towards Dallas. Merge onto I-35 S and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 234B for US-183 N toward Cedar Park. Merge onto US-183 N and continue for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward TX-360 Loop N. Merge onto TX-360 Loop N and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit toward N Capital of Texas Hwy. After exiting, turn left onto N Capital of Texas Hwy. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will see the Pennybacker Bridge Overlook on your left. There is no cost for parking at the overlook, but ensure to arrive early to secure a good spot.
