    If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Red River Valley. Head south on US-75 S towards Dallas. After approximately 30 miles, take exit 22A for I-635 E towards Greenville. Continue on I-635 E for about 5 miles, then take exit 11B to merge onto US-75 N toward Sherman. After about 2.5 miles, take exit 20B for Spring Valley Rd. Merge onto Spring Valley Rd and continue straight. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Holford Rd and you will find Spring Creek Forest Preserve at 1770 Holford Rd, Garland, TX 75044.

  • Public Transportation

    For public transportation, start at the nearest DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) station in Red River Valley. Take the DART light rail Green Line towards the North Carrollton/Frankford Station. Transfer at the CityLine-Bush Station to the DART bus route 883. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Holford Rd. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.5 miles) south along Holford Rd to reach Spring Creek Forest Preserve at 1770 Holford Rd, Garland, TX 75044.
