The bus will take you through the city, and you will have to transfer at the Central Transit Station. From there, take the bus that goes towards Lake Nasworthy. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the nearest stop to San Angelo State Park. Once you arrive, walk along FM 2288 towards the park entrance, which is about a 10-minute walk.

    If you're comfortable riding a bike, rent one from a local bike rental service in San Angelo. Head towards the South Chadbourne Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with FM 2288.
