If you're staying near the main tourist area of South Padre Island, you can walk to the Sea Turtle Hatchery. Start at the intersection of Padre Blvd and E Palm St. Head east on E Palm St towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the beach access path. Follow this path to the sand, then turn left and walk along the shoreline. After a few blocks, you will see Andy Bowie County Park. The Sea Turtle Hatchery is located within the park at 7300 State Park Rd 100.

Start at your accommodation and head towards Padre Blvd. Once on Padre Blvd, ride north until you reach E Palm St. Turn right on E Palm St and follow it until you reach the beach access path.
