If you are driving from the center of South Plains, head northwest on TX-207 N towards Lubbock. Continue on TX-207 N for about 40 miles until you reach Lubbock. Once in Lubbock, take the exit onto US-84 W toward Lamesa. Merge onto US-84 W and then take the exit toward TX-289 Loop N. Stay on the ramp and merge onto TX-289 Loop N. Continue for about 5 miles and take the Canyon Lake Dr exit. Turn left onto Canyon Lake Dr, and the American Windmill Museum will be on your left at 1701 Canyon Lake Dr.
