From Sugar Land Town Square, walk to the nearest bus stop on Highway 6. Take the Fort Bend Transit bus route 10 towards the 'Fulshear Park and Ride'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'West University Place'. Transfer to the METRO bus 25 at the West University Place bus stop heading towards 'Downtown'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop near Waugh Dr & Allen Pkwy. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Waugh Drive Bat Colony.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations available in Sugar Land. Start from Sugar Land Town Square and head north on Highway 6. Follow the bike lane on Highway 6 until you reach the intersection with Westpark Tollway. Make a left turn onto Westpark Tollway and continue straight until you reach Waugh Dr. The Waugh Drive Bat Colony will be on your right, just a short ride away.

From there, take the Fort Bend Transit bus route 10 towards 'Fulshear Park and Ride'. Alight at the West University Place stop. From here, it's a leisurely walk of about 15-20 minutes through the neighborhood to reach Waugh Drive. Follow the street signs towards Waugh Dr & Allen Pkwy, where the bat colony is located.
