You'll see a large intersection with W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Turn right onto W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and walk for approximately 0.2 miles. The Texas African American Museum will be on your left at 309 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.

From downtown Tyler, locate the nearest bus stop and take the Tyler Transit bus route that heads towards the East Texas State Fairgrounds. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to S Broadway Ave and W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Walk west on W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd for about 0.2 miles. The Texas African American Museum will be on your left at 309 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
