    If you are starting from downtown Tyler, begin at the Tyler Public Library located at 201 S College Ave, Tyler, TX 75702. Head north on S College Ave towards E Elm St for about 0.2 miles. Turn left onto E Elm St and walk for another 0.1 miles. You will reach the intersection with S Broadway Ave. Cross S Broadway Ave and continue walking straight onto E Gentry Pkwy. Follow E Gentry Pkwy for approximately 1.5 miles (you will pass various shops and restaurants). When you reach the intersection with US-271, turn right onto US-271 N. Continue on US-271 N for about 2.5 miles. Camp Ford Historical Park will be on your left at 6500 US-271, Tyler, TX 75708.

    Starting from the Tyler Rose Garden at 420 Rose Park Dr, Tyler, TX 75702, exit the park and head east on Rose Park Dr towards S Palace Ave. Turn left onto S Palace Ave and then turn left onto E Gentry Pkwy. Ride along E Gentry Pkwy for about 1.5 miles, enjoying the sights of the area. When you reach the intersection with US-271, turn right onto US-271 N. Camp Ford Historical Park will be about 2.5 miles down on your left at 6500 US-271, Tyler, TX 75708.
