Get off at the stop near the intersection of Highway 6 and Eichelberger Crossing Road. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the Lake Waco Wetlands. Head east on Eichelberger Crossing Road until you reach the entrance to the wetlands on your left.

    For those who prefer biking, rent a bike from a local shop in Waco. Start from downtown and head northwest on the Riverwalk towards the Waco Suspension Bridge. Continue on the bike path that leads towards Highway 6. Once you reach Highway 6, carefully navigate to Eichelberger Crossing Road. Follow Eichelberger Crossing Road east for about 2 miles until you reach the Lake Waco Wetlands entrance on your left.

    If you are walking from downtown Waco, head north on 4th Street towards the Waco Convention Center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 6. Cross the highway at the pedestrian crossing and continue onto Eichelberger Crossing Road. Walk along Eichelberger Crossing Road for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Lake Waco Wetlands on your left. It will be about a 45-minute walk.
