If you're in downtown Waco, start at the Waco Convention Center located at 100 Washington Ave. Head west on Washington Ave towards S 5th St. Turn left onto S 5th St and walk south for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with M P Daniel Esplanade. Turn right onto M P Daniel Esplanade and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. The Baylor Bear Habitat will be on your left.
Bicycle
From downtown Waco, you can rent a bicycle from a local bike-sharing program or bring your own. Start at the Waco Riverwalk along the Brazos River. Ride north along the Riverwalk until you reach the intersection with University Parks Dr. Turn left onto University Parks Dr and continue for about 1 mile. Turn right onto M P Daniel Esplanade, and the Baylor Bear Habitat will be on your right after about 0.2 miles.
Public Transit
If you prefer public transit, you can take the Waco Transit System. Find the nearest bus stop and board the bus heading towards Baylor University. You may need to transfer at the Waco Transit depot. After arriving at Baylor University, get off at the stop near the Student Union Building. From there, walk east along M P Daniel Esplanade for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the Baylor Bear Habitat on your left.
