Walking
If you are in downtown Waco, start at the Waco Convention Center located at 100 Washington Ave, Waco, TX 76701. Head south on Washington Ave towards 5th St. After about 0.2 miles, turn right onto 5th St. Continue walking for another 0.3 miles, and you will arrive at the Waco University Historical Marker located at 609 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706. The marker is situated near the corner of 5th St and Jackson Ave.
Public Transit
From the Waco Transit bus stop at the Waco Convention Center, take the Route 1 bus towards South Waco. Get off at the '5th St & Jackson Ave' stop. Walk north on 5th St for about 0.1 miles, and you will find the Waco University Historical Marker at 609 S 5th St. The marker is easily visible from the street.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market at 500 Washington Ave, Waco, TX 76701. Head south on Washington Ave and then turn right onto 5th St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. The Waco University Historical Marker will be on your left at 609 S 5th St. There are bike racks nearby for parking.
