    Car

    If you're driving to Bang Wad from Patong Beach, head east on Thaweewong Road towards Rat Uthit 200 Pee Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Phra Baramee Road (Route 4029). Drive for about 3 kilometers until you see the signs for Kathu. Turn left onto Kathu Road and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the signs for Bang Wad on your left. Look for the entrance, which is well-marked.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Bang Wad using public transportation, take a local bus from Patong Beach to Phuket Town. The bus will take you to the main bus terminal in Phuket Town. From there, transfer to a local songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Kathu. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Bang Wad Lake. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes. Disembark at the designated stop near the entrance to Bang Wad, which is well-known among locals.

    If you're coming from Phuket Town, start by heading northwest on Thalang Road. Continue onto Phang Nga Road and follow the signs towards Kathu. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto Kathu Road. Drive for approximately 2 kilometers, and you'll find Bang Wad Lake on your right. Look for the entrance, which is easily visible from the road.

    From Kata or Karon Beach, take a local bus to Phuket Town. Once at the bus terminal, switch to a songthaew going to Kathu. It's advisable to tell the driver your destination (Bang Wad), and they will drop you off at the nearest point. The journey might take about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, you can walk to the entrance of Bang Wad Lake, which is just a short distance away.
