Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Phuket Town. Head southeast on Thalang Road, then turn onto the bypass road (Route 402). Follow the signs towards Cape Panwa. After approximately 10 km, take a left onto Sakdidet Road. Continue on this road for about 5 km. You'll see signs for Cape Panwa Viewpoint. The viewpoint has a parking area available.
Public Transportation (Songthaew)
To reach Cape Panwa Viewpoint via public transport, catch a songthaew (shared taxi) that goes to Cape Panwa. You can find them at various points in Phuket Town, especially near the bus terminal. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they will take you to Cape Panwa. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive in Cape Panwa, you will need to either walk or take a short motorbike taxi to the viewpoint, which is approximately 2 km away.
Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from Cape Panwa village to the viewpoint. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes and should cost around 50-100 THB, depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, if you arrive in Cape Panwa by songthaew or motorbike taxi, you can trek to the viewpoint. The path is well-marked and takes about 30 minutes on foot. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the climb can be steep in some areas.
