Getting There
Car
If you are driving, start by heading to Krabi town. From there, take Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Ao Nang. Continue on Route 4 until you reach the ferry pier at Ban Saladan in Ko Lanta. Follow signs to the ferry terminal where you can catch a ferry to Ko Lanta. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ko Lanta, follow signs to Khlong Dao Beach, which is approximately a 20-minute drive from the ferry terminal.
Public Transportation
From Krabi, take a minivan to Ko Lanta. Minivans leave from Krabi bus station and take about 2-3 hours to reach Saladan Pier on Ko Lanta. The fare is approximately 300-400 THB. Upon arrival at Saladan Pier, you can catch a local tuk-tuk or taxi to Khlong Dao Beach, which is about 10-15 minutes away and should cost around 200-300 THB.
Ferry
If you are coming from nearby islands, check the local ferry schedules to Ko Lanta as they frequently operate between Koh Phi Phi, Koh Jum, and Ko Lanta. Once you arrive at Saladan Pier, you can take a tuk-tuk or taxi to Khlong Dao Beach, which takes about 10-15 minutes.
