From Surat Thani city center, head to the main bus terminal (Terminal 1). Look for buses heading towards Chaiya. Purchase a ticket to Chaiya, which should cost around 50-100 THB depending on the bus type. The ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Chaiya bus station, exit the terminal and take a local songthaew (shared taxi) or motorcycle taxi to Laem Pho. The songthaew will cost about 30 THB per person and takes around 20 minutes to reach Laem Pho.
