Car
From Krabi Town, take Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Ao Nang. Continue on Route 4 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 4206. Turn onto Route 4206 and follow the signs for Koh Lanta. After crossing the bridge to Koh Lanta, continue on the main road (Route 4245) for about 20 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Ao Nui Bay, and turn onto the road leading to Moo 5 Ao Nui Bay. The drive from Krabi Town to Nui Bay takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Parking is available near the beach.
Public Transportation
From Krabi Town, take a minivan or bus to Koh Lanta. The minivans depart from Krabi Bus Terminal and typically cost around 200-300 THB per person. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Koh Lanta, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Ao Nui Bay. The fare for the songthaew is about 30-50 THB per person, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the beach. Be sure to communicate that you want to go to 'Ao Nui Bay' to the driver.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Krabi Town to Nui Bay. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and will cost around 1,500-2,000 THB, depending on your negotiation skills. Ensure that you agree on the fare beforehand. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance to the beach.
