If you are driving from Krabi Town, take Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Ao Nang. After approximately 15 km, you will reach Ao Nang. From Ao Nang, continue on the main road until you see signs for Thale Waek. This area can be reached best during low tide, so check the local tide schedule. Make sure to park your car in one of the designated parking areas near the beach.

Public Transportation (Songthaew)
To reach Thale Waek using public transportation, take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Krabi Town to Ao Nang. The fare is around 50 THB per person. Once you arrive in Ao Nang, you can hire a local longtail boat to take you to Thale Waek, which costs approximately 300-800 THB depending on the number of passengers and negotiation. Make sure to arrange your return with the boat driver.
