If you are traveling by car, start by navigating towards Khura Buri District in Phang Nga Province. From Phuket, take Route 4 (Phuket-Phang Nga Road) heading north. After about 100 km, turn onto Route 401 leading to Khura Buri. Once in Khura Buri, follow signs to the pier for Ko Phra Thong, which is located at the end of the main road in the district.

For those using public transportation, catch a bus from Phuket to Khura Buri. The bus terminal in Phuket is located at Rassada Pier. Buses operate regularly and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Khura Buri bus station, take a local taxi or songthaew (shared pickup truck) to the pier for Ko Phra Thong. The fare should be around 100-150 THB.

Once you reach the pier in Khura Buri, you will need to take a ferry to Ko Phra Thong. Ferries run frequently, but it’s advisable to check the schedule ahead of time, especially during the rainy season.
