Wat Boromphuttharam: A Glimpse into Ayutthaya's Rich History

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Ayutthaya Historical Park, head west on Naresuan Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Thanon Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Turn left onto Thanon Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and walk for approximately 500 meters. Wat Boromphuttharam will be on your right, just after crossing the small bridge.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops near the Ayutthaya Historical Park. Start on Naresuan Road heading west for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Thanon Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, take a left. Ride for about 500 meters and look for Wat Boromphuttharam on your right after the bridge. This route is pleasant and allows you to enjoy the scenery of Ayutthaya.

• Tuk-tuk

  Find a tuk-tuk stand near the Ayutthaya Historical Park. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Wat Boromphuttharam. Provide them with the address: 8HX6+2G3, Tambon Pratuchai. The ride should not take more than 10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting the journey.

• Local Boat

  If you are near the river, you can take a local boat from one of the piers on the Chao Phraya River. Ask the boat operator for a ride to the nearest landing point for Wat Boromphuttharam. After disembarking, follow the signs or ask local residents for directions, as it is a short walk from the river.
