Getting There

Bicycle
If you are in the center of Ayutthaya, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Start by heading east on Naresuan Road (Road 32). After about 1.5 kilometers, take a left onto the side road leading towards Phai Ling area. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection. Wat Maklam will be on your right, marked by a small entrance.

From any central location in Ayutthaya, find a tuk-tuk driver. Tell them you want to go to Wat Maklam in Phai Ling. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare usually costs between 50-100 Baht. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the temple.

If you are near the Ayutthaya Historical Park, start walking towards Naresuan Road. Walk east for about 2 kilometers. You will need to cross some streets, so be cautious. Once you reach the side road that leads to Phai Ling, turn left and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you see Wat Maklam on your right side.
