Car
If you're traveling by car from the Cardamom Mountains area, head towards Highway 1 (Phetkasem Road) and follow the signs for Chiang Rai. Once you reach Chiang Rai, take Route 118 towards Wiang Kaen District. Continue on this road for about 50 kilometers. As you approach Wiang Kaen, look for signs indicating Po village. Turn onto the local road leading to Po. Once you arrive in Po, you can park your car in the designated parking area before the trailhead to Phu Chi Dao. Note that you may need to pay a small parking fee (around 20-50 THB). From the parking area, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the summit of Phu Chi Dao.

Public Transportation
To reach Phu Chi Dao using public transportation, first take a bus or minivan from your location in the Cardamom Mountains to Chiang Rai. Once in Chiang Rai, you can catch a local bus heading to Wiang Kaen District. Inform the driver that you want to get off in Po village. The bus ride may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. After reaching Po village, you can either walk or hire a local tuk-tuk to take you to the trailhead for Phu Chi Dao. The tuk-tuk fare should be around 50-100 THB. Once at the trailhead, it's a 15-20 minute hike to the top.
