Getting there

Tuk-tuk

From the center of Ayutthaya, find a tuk-tuk stand or wave down a tuk-tuk on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Thammasat Stadium in Khlong Luang District. It’s approximately a 30-minute ride. Make sure to agree on a fare before you start your journey.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Ayutthaya. Head south on the main road (Rama I Road) and continue until you reach the intersection with Khlong Nueng Road. Turn left onto Khlong Nueng Road and continue for about 5 kilometers until you see the stadium on your right. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have water and sun protection.

Walking

Walking to Thammasat Stadium is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 8 km from the city center) and lack of pedestrian paths. However, if you're up for the challenge, start at the Ayutthaya Historical Park and head south via the main road. You will need to navigate several busy intersections, so be very careful. This journey could take over an hour.

Motorbike taxi

Look for a motorbike taxi near your location in Ayutthaya. These are typically found near popular tourist attractions. Inform the driver you want to go to Thammasat Stadium in Khlong Nueng. The ride should take around 30 minutes. Again, remember to negotiate the fare before starting your trip.
