If you're driving, start by heading towards the city center of Chiang Mai. From the Old City, take Ratchadamnoen Road heading southeast. After about 1 km, this road will turn into Kotchasarn Road. Continue straight until you reach Kotchasarn Rd Lane 5, where the Elephant Retirement Park is located on your left at number 5. Look for the park signage as it is a popular attraction.

To reach the Elephant Retirement Park via public transport, take a red songthaew (shared taxi) from the city center. You can catch a songthaew from any major intersection. Tell the driver you are going to 'Elephant Retirement Park' or show them the address: 5 Kotchasarn Rd Lane 5. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Get off when you reach Kotchasarn Rd Lane 5; the park will be on your left.

If you're staying nearby and wish to walk to the Elephant Retirement Park, head toward Kotchasarn Road from your accommodation. Follow Kotchasarn Road until you reach Lane 5. The park is located at number 5 on the left-hand side. It is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Old City area. Keep an eye out for the park's signage.
