If you are starting from the Old City area, head towards the Tha Pae Gate. From Tha Pae Gate, walk northwest along Ratchadamnoen Road until you reach the intersection with Chaiyapoom Road. Turn left onto Chaiyapoom Road and continue walking straight for about 500 meters. You will see คูเมืองเชียงใหม่ (Chiang Mai moat) on your right side, just after passing the Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre.
