Songthaew (shared taxi)
To get to Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm from the center of Chiang Mai, find a Songthaew at one of the main roads, such as Chang Klan Road or Nimmanhaemin Road. Tell the driver 'Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm' or simply 'Mae Rim' to ensure they understand your destination. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. The fare is usually around 40-60 THB per person. The Songthaew will drop you off near the entrance of the farm.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a more private ride, you can hire a Tuk-Tuk from anywhere in Chiang Mai. Negotiate the fare before you start; it should be around 300-400 THB for a one-way trip to Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Just tell the driver to take you to 'Mae Raem, Mae Rim District.'

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great option. You can rent a bike from shops in the Old City or Nimmanhaemin area. Head north towards Huay Kaew Road and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 107. Turn left onto Route 107 and cycle for approximately 15 km. Follow the signs to Mae Rim, and Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm will be on your right. This ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

Walking to Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm is not practical due to the distance (about 15 km from the city center) and lack of pedestrian paths. It is recommended to use a Songthaew or Tuk-Tuk for convenience.
