    From the Old City or Nimmanhaemin area, locate a Songthaew (red truck taxi) pickup point. You can easily find them near popular spots like Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center or Chiang Mai Gate. Tell the driver you want to go to Huai Tueng Thao or 'Mae Rim.' The fare is usually around 40-60 THB per person. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the main entrance of Huai Tueng Thao.
