Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Chiang Rai, start at the Clock Tower located at Phaholyothin Road. From the Clock Tower, walk north along Phaholyothin Road for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Ratthakarn Road. Turn left onto Ratthakarn Road and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar on your right-hand side. The market is well-signposted and typically has vibrant lights and crowds, making it easy to locate.

• Tuk-Tuk

  To take a tuk-tuk to the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, simply find a tuk-tuk stand, or flag one down on the street. You can tell the driver you want to go to the 'Night Bazaar' or show them the address: WR4M+5M2, Tambon Wiang. The drive should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare is usually around 30-50 Thai Baht.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  Look for a songthaew, which is a shared taxi that follows set routes. You can catch one at designated songthaew stops or flag one down. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Night Bazaar. The ride will typically cost around 20-30 Thai Baht and will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. Remember to confirm that the songthaew is heading in the right direction.
