Getting There

Songthaew
From the center of Chiang Rai, head to the nearest Songthaew station. You will find multiple Songthaews that go to various parts of the city. Look for a Songthaew with a sign indicating 'Ban Du' or 'Soi 7'. The fare is usually around 20-30 THB. Inform the driver that you want to go to Somdet Ya Park. The driver will drop you off at the closest stop to the park, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From the drop-off point, walk along Soi 7 for about 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Somdet Ya Park on your left.

Tuk-tuk
To take a Tuk-tuk, find one in the city center. Negotiate the fare to Somdet Ya Park; it should cost around 100-150 THB. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Somdet Ya Park' located on Soi 7 in Ban Du. The ride will take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right outside the park entrance.

If you're staying near the city center and prefer to walk, you can make your way to Somdet Ya Park by heading north on Phaholyothin Road. Walk for about 30 minutes until you reach the intersection with Soi 7. Turn left onto Soi 7, and continue walking for another 10 minutes. Somdet Ya Park will be on your left-hand side. This route is approximately 2.5 kilometers long.
