Car

Make sure to drive carefully as the road can be winding and steep.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) from Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park. The fare is typically around 150-200 THB per person one way. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can hire a songthaew for a round trip to Doi Pha Ngam for approximately 500-700 THB, depending on the negotiation. Make sure to agree on a return time with the driver.
