If you are driving, head towards the town of Watthana Nakhon in Sa Kaeo Province. From Bangkok, take Highway 1 (Phahonyothin Road) towards Saraburi, then switch to Highway 33 towards Nakhon Ratchasima. Follow signs to Highway 24, then take Highway 348 to Sa Kaeo. To reach Phra Prong Reservoir by public transport, take a bus from Bangkok to Sa Kaeo. Buses depart from the Mo Chit Bus Terminal regularly. Once you arrive at Sa Kaeo's bus terminal, you will need to take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Watthana Nakhon. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you near Chong Khum. From Chong Khum, you can either walk approximately 1 km to the reservoir or hire a local motorbike taxi for a small fee.
