Car
If you're driving from Bangkok, take Highway 3 (Sukhumvit Road) towards Chonburi. Continue on Highway 3 until you reach Rayong. Once in Rayong, follow signs for Klaeng. As you approach Klaeng, look for local signs directing you to Suan Son Beach. The beach is located at coordinates 12.633073, 101.483319. There is a parking area available near the beach, which may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Bangkok, you can take a bus from Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Rayong. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 2-3 hours, costing approximately 200-300 THB. Once you arrive at Rayong Bus Terminal, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Klaeng, which should cost around 30-50 THB. Inform the driver you want to go to Suan Son Beach, and they will drop you off close to the beach entrance.
Public Transportation (Minivan)
Alternatively, you can take a minivan from Mo Chit Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Rayong. The fare is about 250-350 THB and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at Rayong, transfer to a local songthaew heading to Klaeng. The fare for this segment is around 30-50 THB. The driver will drop you off near Suan Son Beach.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Rayong to Suan Son Beach. This option is more expensive, typically costing around 400-600 THB depending on your negotiation skills and traffic conditions. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the beach, saving time and hassle.
