Car
If you are driving from Bangkok, take the Eastern Motorway (Highway 7) towards Chonburi. Continue on Highway 7 until you reach the exit for Highway 304 towards Prachin Buri. Follow Highway 304 until you reach Si Mahosot District. Look for signs that direct you to Khok Pip. The Buddhas Footprints is located at the coordinates 13.8636, 101.4241, which should be visible on your GPS. There is no entrance fee for visiting.
Public Transportation
To reach The Buddhas Footprints via public transport, start by taking a bus from Bangkok's Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Prachin Buri. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once in Prachin Buri, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) or a tuk-tuk to Si Mahosot District. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Khok Pip, which is where The Buddhas Footprints is located. The total public transport cost should be around 150-200 THB for the bus and approximately 50-100 THB for the local transport.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Bangkok to The Buddhas Footprints. This option is convenient but more expensive, costing around 1,500-2,000 THB depending on traffic and time of day. The taxi can take you directly to the coordinates 13.8636, 101.4241. You can arrange for the taxi to wait for you while you visit the site.
