Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Erawan National Park from Kanchanaburi. The park is located approximately 65 kilometers from Kanchanaburi city. Follow Route 3199, which leads directly to the park's entrance. Upon arriving at the entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee of 300 THB for foreigners. If you have a vehicle, there is an additional parking fee of 30 THB for cars or 20 THB for scooters. After parking, follow the signs to the Erawan Falls trailhead, which is about a 1.5 km walk from the parking area.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Erawan National Park using public transportation, take a minibus or songthaew from the Kanchanaburi bus station. Look for buses heading to Erawan Falls or Si Sawat. The fare is usually around 50-100 THB. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee of 300 THB for foreigners. From the entrance, you can walk to the Erawan Falls trailhead, which is approximately 1.5 km away.

• Walking

  After parking your car or disembarking from public transportation at the park entrance, follow the well-marked paths leading to Erawan Falls. The trail is scenic and well-maintained, making it suitable for most fitness levels. The first tier of the falls is about 600 meters from the entrance, and it takes roughly 15-20 minutes to walk there. As you continue to the higher tiers, the trail becomes steeper in parts, but the stunning views of the cascading waterfalls are well worth the effort.
