If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Chiang Rai. Head north on Route 1 (Phahonyothin Road) for about 30 kilometers. After passing Mae Fah Luang University, continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 1290. Turn left onto Route 1290 and follow the signs for Mae Sai. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Tham Luang Cave as you approach Mae Sai. Look for the entrance on your right side, marked with signage.
