We had a great day. Very informative guide, lovely driver. We had a train ride for an hour from the Kwai bridge. Lunch, museum, cemetery and a great boat ride.

A long day but needed to be done to pay our respects. The cemetery is kept immaculate well done commonwealth war graves commission.

Private Kanchanaburi Ancient Death Railway Day Tour from Bangkok
Fantastic day
Loved everything about this tour. The death railway museum was incredible with life like depictions, memorabilia, photos and more. I found it very moving at times realising just what our soldiers went through. We moved on to a mock up of a prisoner of war camp and then boarded a long tail boat for a trip up the river Kwai to the bridge. Before walking the bridge we had a beautiful lunch at a riverside restaurant and then had some time to walk across the bridge and back. We then joined our driver and guide for the trip back to Bangkok. Both the guide and driver were excellent and the car was modern comfortable and well maintained. Really strongly recommend this tour.
