Getting There

  • Car

    If you are travelling by car, drive to the main entrance of Khao Yai National Park. From the entrance, continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Khao Yai National Park Checkpoint located at 6CC4+V7P, Noen Hom, Mueang Prachinburi District, Prachin Buri 25230. Be sure to pay the entrance fee at the park's entrance, which is approximately 400 THB for adults and 200 THB for children (Thai nationals pay a reduced rate).

  • Public Transport

    For those using public transport, take a bus from Bangkok’s Mo Chit bus terminal to Pak Chong. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 3 hours. Once in Pak Chong, you can catch a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Khao Yai National Park, which will cost around 50-100 THB per person. The songthaew will drop you off at the main entrance of the park. From there, follow the earlier instructions to reach the Khao Yai National Park Checkpoint.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Pak Chong to the Khao Yai National Park Checkpoint. The fare should range from 500 to 800 THB, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Ensure that the taxi driver is familiar with the park's entrance and checkpoint location.

    If you choose to rent a car, numerous rental agencies are available in Bangkok. Drive towards Khao Yai National Park via Highway 2 (Mittraphap Road) and follow the signs to the park. Once you reach the park entrance, pay the entrance fee and continue for about 10 kilometers to arrive at the Khao Yai National Park Checkpoint.
