Car
From Khao Yai, take Route 2 (Thanon Mittraphap) heading southeast toward Nakhon Ratchasima. Continue for about 60 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 3077. Turn left onto Route 3077 and follow the signs for Bang Lamung. After approximately 100 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs indicating Khao Ko Lan. The drive will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Take a bus from Khao Yai to Nakhon Ratchasima at the local bus station. Once at Nakhon Ratchasima, transfer to a bus that goes to Bang Lamung. The entire journey may cost around 200-300 THB and could take approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on waiting times and transfers. Ensure to check the bus schedules as they may vary.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
For a more direct route, consider booking a taxi or using a ride-hailing app (like Grab) from Khao Yai to Khao Ko Lan. This option is more expensive, typically costing between 1,500 to 2,500 THB. The ride will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.
Combination of Train and Taxi
From Khao Yai, drive or take a taxi to the nearest train station at Nakhon Ratchasima. Board a train headed toward Chon Buri. Upon arrival at Chon Buri railway station, take a taxi to reach Khao Ko Lan. This journey can take up to 5 hours and cost around 300-500 THB for the train and an additional 500-700 THB for the taxi.
