Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start from the main road (Route 4171) in Koh Phangan. Head towards Thong Sala and continue following the signs towards Haad Yuan. After about 15 minutes, you'll reach a junction; take a left towards Haad Yuan. Continue on this road until you see signs for Wang Sai Waterfall. The entrance will be on your right side. Please note that there is a small parking fee of approximately 20 THB (Thai Baht) for parking your car.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

To reach Wang Sai by public transport, you can take a Songthaew from Thong Sala. Look for the Songthaew heading to Haad Yuan or Haad Tien. The fare is typically around 50-100 THB per person, depending on your bargaining skills. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Wang Sai Waterfall. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the waterfall.

Motorbike Rental

Another popular option is renting a motorbike. Rental shops are available in most towns, and prices usually range from 150-300 THB per day. Once you have your motorbike, follow the same route as mentioned for cars. This gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace. Make sure to wear a helmet and drive carefully, as the roads can be winding. The parking fee at Wang Sai is the same as for cars, around 20 THB.

Bicycle Rental

For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. Several rental shops in Thong Sala offer bicycles for about 100-200 THB per day. The ride to Wang Sai will take longer, approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the main road towards Haad Yuan, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Be prepared for some uphill sections. Once you arrive, you can park your bicycle at the entrance for free.
