Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Thong Sala, the main port of Koh Phangan. Head north on Route 4199 for about 6 kilometers. When you reach the junction at the entrance of Haad Yuan Beach, take a left turn onto the road leading to Haad Yuan. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach Zen Beach, which is located on your right. There is no entry fee, and parking is available nearby.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

For those using public transportation, find a Songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Haad Yuan Beach. These can be caught from various locations in Thong Sala. The fare is typically around 100-150 THB per person. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Zen Beach. They will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach. After disembarking, it is a short walk to reach the beach area.

Motorbike Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from Thong Sala to Zen Beach. The fare for this service can range from 150-200 THB, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. The motorbike taxi will take you directly to Zen Beach, and the ride typically takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walking

If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Zen Beach. The beach is accessible via a path leading from Haad Yuan Beach. Follow the signs to Zen Beach, which is about a 20-minute walk from Haad Yuan. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
