If you're driving, start from the main road in Koh Phi Phi. Head south towards the pier and follow the signs for Ko Lanta. After about 30 minutes of driving, you will reach a ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Ko Lanta Yai, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you disembark at Ko Lanta Yai, continue driving along the main road for about 15 minutes until you reach Lanta Old Town. Look for the signs directing you to the town center.
Public Transportation
Begin at the main pier in Koh Phi Phi and look for a shared taxi or minivan heading to the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Ko Lanta Yai. The ferry ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ko Lanta Yai, you can take a local songthaew (a shared taxi) from the ferry terminal to Lanta Old Town. The ride will take around 15 minutes, and you can ask the driver to drop you off at the town center.
