Walking
Start at your accommodation in Koh Samui. If you're in Chaweng, head southwest towards the main road. Walk along the main road (Route 4169) towards the direction of Lamai. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for signs pointing to the Hin Lad Waterfall. Turn onto the Hin Lad Waterfall path, which is a smaller road leading to the entrance of the waterfall. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to the waterfall area.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
Find a songthaew stop near your location, which are usually located along main roads. Tell the driver you want to go to Hin Lad Waterfall. The fare should be around 50-100 THB depending on your starting point. The songthaew will drop you off at the nearest point to the waterfall entrance on Route 4169. From there, follow the Hin Lad Waterfall path for about 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall.
