If you are in the area of Chaweng Beach, start by heading towards the main road, Route 4169. Walk north along the beach road until you reach the intersection with Route 4171. At the intersection, turn left onto Route 4171. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for the Big Buddha and Wat Phra Yai. Follow the signs towards Big Buddha. Once you reach the Big Buddha, continue on the path leading away from the statue. The Mermaid Statue is located nearby on the coast, just a short walk from the Big Buddha site.

If you're starting from Fisherman’s Village in Bophut, head south along the beach road (Bophut Beach Road) towards Route 4171. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Route 4171. Turn left onto Route 4171 and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the Big Buddha. Once you arrive at the Big Buddha area, walk past the statue and follow the coastal path to reach the Mermaid Statue, which is just a short distance away.
