From the center of Maenam, head east towards the main road (Route 4169). Walk along the road until you reach the intersection with Route 4171. Turn left onto Route 4171 and continue walking until you see signs for Tan Rua Waterfall. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

If you prefer a quicker mode of transportation, consider renting a bicycle. There are several rental shops in Maenam. Once you have your bike, ride east towards Route 4169, then turn left onto Route 4171. Follow the signs to Tan Rua Waterfall. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Rental costs typically range from 150-300 THB per day.

You can take a local songthaew from Maenam to the nearest drop-off point for Tan Rua Waterfall. Look for the songthaew that says 'Nathon' or 'Lamai' and ask the driver to drop you off near the waterfall. The fare is usually around 50-100 THB. After being dropped off, it's a short walk following the signs to the waterfall.
