Getting there

Walking

If you are in the central area of Maenam, start by heading towards the main road, 4169. Walk in the direction of the beach, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the signs for various beach access points. Look for local landmarks such as the Maenam Market, which is a good reference point. From there, continue walking along the beachfront until you see the Lighthouse Maenam. The lighthouse is situated near the beach, and you may notice a small tower that resembles a lighthouse, making it easier to spot.

Bicycle Rental

For a quicker option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Maenam. Prices typically range from 150 to 300 THB per day. Once you have your bicycle, head towards 4169 and ride in the direction of the beach. Follow the same route as above, and you will reach Lighthouse Maenam in about 10 minutes. Make sure to return the bicycle by the end of the day to avoid additional charges.

Tuk-Tuk or Songthaew

If you prefer not to walk or bike, you can take a local tuk-tuk or songthaew (shared taxi) to Lighthouse Maenam. Head to the nearest main road and wait for a songthaew that is heading toward the Maenam Beach area. The fare is usually around 20-50 THB per person, depending on the distance. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Lighthouse. They are familiar with the area and will drop you off close to the lighthouse.
